i – yoga – basel

In August 2014 I traveled to Pune, India for the first time to the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute. The encounter with BKS Iyengar touched me deeply. I was immensely impressed by his great presence and inner glow, despite his age and already weak body. My shock at his death shortly afterwards and the ceremony of his cremation, which left a deep impression on me, was indescribable. This evening was full of energy, the sky was brightly lit and the rumble of thunder sounded as if the Master was speaking to the gods.

In 2015 I opened my own yoga school at Güterstrasse 285 in Basel.
