SC Royal Bern

SC Royal Bern is a Swiss football club based in the city of Bern. The club was founded in 1896 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Switzerland. They have a rich history, having won the Swiss National League A (the top tier of Swiss football) a total of 14 times, most recently in the 2015-16 season. The club’s home stadium is the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf, which has a capacity of over 31,000 spectators. Some notable former players for SC Royal Bern include Swiss international striker Alexander Frei and former Swiss national team coach Jakob Kuhn.
